Miss World Pageant 2023 Is To Be Hosted In India After 27 Years
India is gearing up to play host to the 71st Miss World 2023 Pageant after a long haul of 27 years. The last time when India was given this was back in 1996.
The announcement of India hosting the prestigious Miss World Pageant comes just months after United Arab Emirates (UAE) confirmed they are going to hold the Pageant this year. Although the exact dates are yet to be confirmed, it is going to be held around November or December of this year.
Chairperson and CEO of Miss World Organization, Julia Morley, said, “I am delighted to announce India as the new home of the 71st Miss World Final! I have a great affection for India from the first moment I visited this incredible country more than 30 years ago! We cannot wait to share your unique and diverse culture, world class attractions and breathtaking locations with the rest of the world.”
The reigning Miss World Karolina Bielawska, expressed her views and said, “India prepares to welcome the world with open arms the 71st Miss World 2023 and showcase the country’s grace, beauty, and progressive spirit. Join us in celebrating the power of women to make a difference as we embark on this extraordinary journey together.”
