Priyanka Chopra Gives Lessons In Cocktail Styling With Bold Black Mini Dress

“When Priyanka Chopra was appointed as one of the brand ambassadors of the lingerie brand, Victoria’s Secret in 2018 it created a lot of buzz and curiosity on what new to expect from the label. The actor provided a sense of inclusivity and purpose towards the brands, among other things.”

“For the event, Chopra was spotted in an RTW navy Jewel-Neck Eyelet Chiffon sleeveless dress from Oscar de la Renta as a part of their Resort 2023 collection, styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray.”

“Take a closer look at the jewel neck knit dress, and you will find petal lace embroidered onto the bodice to give it the appearance of a cutout dress. The botanical prints peek through the fringes and the petals, an inspiration taken by creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia from the New York Botanical Gardens.”

“The detailing adds a hint of color and is a play at dimensions thanks to the optical manipulation. She paired the mini knit dress with an identical cardigan with the fringe trim. A woven floral scarf pattern defines both the dress and cardigan.”

“To complete the look, she paired them with black leather pointy-toe pumps from Jimmy Choo with a partial sheer panel in the front to elongate her legs. Contrary to popular belief, navy and black complement each other and can be worn together.”

“The actor wore her hair in her signature loose waves with a centre-parting and caramel highlights. For jewelry, the actor wore silver rings and small hoops from Bulgari. Chopra has been the brand ambassador of Bulgari since 2021.

”On her Instagram, she captioned the image, saying, “Congratulations to @victoriassecret for being the kind of brand that not only talks the talk but walks the walk.

Thank you, Dr. Lisa Newman, Chief, Section of Breast Surgery, New York-Presbyterian/Weil Cornell Medical Center, Christy Tostevin, SVP VS&CO Community Relations and the VS&Co Foundation, and Trisch Smith, Global Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Edelman for making up such an incredible panel discussion focused on accelerating action and progress towards gender equity, the 5th Sustainable Development Goal.

A goal we have to achieve as it directly affects the others. The SDGs have to be achieved by 2030, and we are nowhere close.”
