Selena Gomez’s Rare Impact Fund: Fusing Fashion And Mental Health

Selena Gomez has marked an evolution in the fashion and beauty world. The Instagram queen and Rare Beauty owner has remarkably fused fashion with mental health. Gomez has always been vocal about mental well-being. Now, she has started the Rare Impact Fund to make mental health services more accessible.

The “Single Soon” star started her Rare Impact Fund in 2020. Also, according to this fund’s website, the goal is to “expand access to mental health services and education for young people around the world.”

On the inauguration of the Rare Impact Fund Benefit on 4th October, Selena Gomez looked dead-drop gorgeous in a purple dress. Rahul Mishra designed this hand-embroidered dress, and it is a part of his “We, The People” collection.

The dress resembled an amethyst flower, and the adornment of sequins all over marked it as dazzling. Also, the floral sculpture of the dress touched her shoulders, and it was layered till her mid-thighs.

Further, she teamed the look with statement earrings and let her hair fall loose with a neat central parting.

Gomez called the gala event “A Night of Radiance & Reflection.” The Los Angeles event indeed used the radiance of the star and high-end fashion with a deep contemplation on mental health. All the money collected from the event and the amount coming from ticket sales will go to the Rare Impact Fund.

Before the gala event, Selena Gomez made a remarkable announcement on Instagram. The actress and singer declared that on 10th October 2023, the sales amount of Rare Beauty products on Sephora will directly go to the Rare Impact Fund. 10th October happens to be World Mental Health Day.

Gomez aims to increase this fund to $100 million in the next ten years. Along with looking elegant in the Rahul Mishra outfit, Gomez also wore a Valentino halter gown for the event. This gown stood out thanks to the floral detailing around the neckline.
